Well, sort of. See, I’m sure you don’t have time to go searching for all the games and see when they’re going to be played, so here’s a handful I’ll throw at you to keep your fresh. As far as what networks they’ll be on, I’ll only tease you to tell you that they’ll be on tomorrow’s HoopTube. All times are Eastern here, per usual.
»Wisconsin @ No. 9 Texas (Noon). Texas dropped their game last weekend against a Big Ten team in Michigan State, so a home loss to the Badgers might do a little resume damage down the road.
»No. 12 Tennessee vs. Gonzaga (@ Seattle, 4 p.m.). It’s being called the “Battle in Seattle.” Eh…alright, I’ll take it. Anyway, a loss her for Gonzaga, and they may have some pretty big issues. Tennessee got a gutty win against Xavier last weekend, so a win here for the Vols will really vault them in the public eye.
»Winthrop @ No. 19 Miami (FL) (8 p.m.). Winthrop may have underperformed a little this year, but this could be a dangerous spot for the ‘Canes. A loss, and an end to their undefeated season, wouldn’t come a surprise here.
»Drake @ Wichita State (8 p.m.). Some thing Drake is really not all that good. Beat the Shockers on the road, you’re pretty good.
»No. 6 Pittsburgh @ Dayton (8 p.m.). Dan Shanoff predicted the Panthers to go down, but I don’t know, I think Dixon will have his team ready here for this game. It’s not one that can really sneak up on the Panthers; they’ve had ample time to recover since the Duke victory.
»No. 17 Arizona @ No. 2 Memphis (10 p.m.). One big-time program last weekend, another this one. Everyone’s high on the Tigers right now, which means they could be prime for a loss against an upstart Wildcats team that few really thought would be ranked heading into ’08.
»Minnesota @ UNLV (Sunday, 7 p.m.). If Tubby can get a Mountain West road win and get Minnesota to 9-1, well, Kentucky fans just might…ah, let’s just use our imaginations.
