The Bears had five players fouled out by the time the 5th OT rolled around and were playing absolute scrubs, but still pulled out the win. A&M choked it away by going a horrible 36-of-59 from the FT line. I agree with you on the point that this won't affect the committee's decisions too much, but it could be absolutely awful for A&M. They travel to Stillwater on Saturday, playing against an OSU team that has been resting since Monday. Gallagher-Iba is a tough place to play on the road already, but coming in off of a 65-minute game and having lost your last two roadies to unranked teams by 20+ each? Yikes.
