If they hadn't lost by 2 points AT Mississippi, they'd be undefeated in the SEC now, and this conversation would have come up a while ago.

I think if they get the right draw that it could be an elite apperance, but anything beyond that would be truly shocking. I do love this idea though of Florida just fucking everyone's world up and making another apperance. They don't seem that hateable anymore, oddly.

As for a FF sleeper, I have to take.......hm, Butler? Or is that too obvious?

As an OSU fan, I watched this Florida squad get handled with relative ease by a Buckeye team that will most likely find itself squarely on the bubble. The Gatos are not that good, but in college basketball absolutely nothing matters except how you're playing for two weeks in March, so in that sense, yeah, they have the same shot as anyone else to get to the Final Four. They'll probably need a hefty dose of good fortune to get there, but hell, after George Mason anything is possible.

Me thinks they could make a deep run in March, benefiting more from a field that's weaker than usual(outside of the top 3 or 4 contenders) than from their own bona fides as a true threat to go the distance. Final Four still seems like out of their reach for now, but, like you said, the right draw could give them a good shot at it.
