Seems I’ve got a few things to put up today, but I thought I’d inform you of Calhoun’s decision to bench Jerome Dyson another 30 days for failing one of those silly drug tests. If you’re interested, link’s below. The much less important Doug Wiggins is back in practice garb, though.
“I’m not happy about anything other than we’ve won four in a row,” Calhoun said in a brief phone conversation Thursday night.
Yeah, that’s pretty much code for “You’re the only reporter left in this town I barely trust and this is all I’m giving you for a quote.”
Ah, yes, and this one:
Asked if Wiggins would play Saturday, Calhoun said, “I have not made that decision yet. He’ll either be dressed in uniform or civilian clothes.”
He sounds like some sort of emperor. I’m so glad with the civilian clothes I chose to wear today, by the by.Â
More on UConn later. (Ooh, tease.)
Pass/Fail Test At UConn {Hartford Courant}

I wonder who pissed for Wiggins?
Great point. I was kind of thinking the same thing. I mean, c’mon, you’re telling me that Wiggins was going to have a moral awakening while downing Cognac in a car with Dyson?
“Nah, dude, I’m good with the drink.”
Just don’t see it.
