Boe-headed Move

Syracuse just blew an epic game to Pittsburgh and it warrants a post. The Orange(men) had a double-digit lead with less than four minutes to go, but their patented 2-3 zone D couldn’t hold back Pittsburgh (??) and then a terrible play by Paul Harris, followed by Boeheim seemingly looking to get a technical, put Syracuse in more than a precocious situation.

A buddy of mine who is an alumnus of Syracuse claims it’s the worst regular season loss he’s ever seen. It would be hard to argue; Syracuse had all the mo’ you could ask for in the second half.

In my opinion, it’s going to take a win in each game from here on out for Syracuse. And, if they were to lose, it had better be in the Big East title game to a Georgetown or a Louisville in order to be hopeful on Selection Sunday.
