I’m very aware of all that is happening today, but unfortunately my real life duties of being a sports writer have thrown a wrench into my lathargic, couch-induced college basketball Saturday. I’ll be away from the computer (but hopefully not a radio or television) for the rest of the day and will put up plenty of analysis, features and videos all day tomorrow. I will see you then. Enjoy Dickie V talking Bobby Knight at the ACC (Coach K gets his 800th, Carolina currently getting handled by BC) while calling, you know, A BIG XII game tonight. I’m not sorry that I’ll be missing that inevitable crock of a broadcast.
See ya tomorrow.

I swear, G’Town really struggled on almost every position down the stretch. They kept doing an awkward weave pass at the tip of the perimeter, wasting their time until there was like 6 seconds left on the shot clock.
I was still thinking Marquette was going to pull it off, even when they were down like 4 with under 20 seconds, or something like that.
It was a great game though. Most exciting of the day, mostly due to Gus Johnson. That guy could make me watch the grass grow.
