It’s Time For the Marylands and Syracuses to Start Winning Some Games

toreroswhoa.jpgSan Diego has effectively thrown a big wrench into this bubble picture by winning the West Coast Conference tournament, defeating Gonzaga 69-62 on their home floor and probably wrapping up a 13 seed in the process. Let’s get on with this madness thing, right?

I turned off SportsCenter before Lunardi’s toupee came on and told us who was effectively kicked out, but by my calculations right now, this would bump Dayton out for the time being. (I don’t want to know what Lunardi said.)

Meanwhile, South Alabama loses to Middle Tennessee State 82-73, and I don’t know what we’re going to do with them. It’s great to debate, but I feel more and more apoplectic about this bubble, which is pretty damn weak. If it wasn’t necessary to take 65, I’d really suggest a 56-team Tournament this year.

And in case you were wondering, a Torero is essentially a bullfighter.

Huge win for San Diego! Matt, my little brother is a student at USD and stormed the court with promises of some pics. Interested?

Good to see you back here, Mad. I’ll put up some floor-storm stuff courtesy of your bro if you can grace us with your presence throughout The Tourney!

    Send ‘em to editor@collegehoopsjournal.com.

Yeah man, sorry about that. I’ve been working like crazy, but I promise to be a better reader for the next month… I’ll send them across as soon as he sobers up enough to get them to me this morning. Great posts as usual, by the way.

This is great. Will San Diego be pitted against a school similar to Kentucky? And if that happens, will I be duped into picking them? Probably.
