Nothing beats your brother calling you during the middle of a game and asking, “Dude, are you watching right now?”
It’s amazing how many sports reporters have mustaches.
Luke Winn of SI.com is about 10 feet to my right (he’s sans facial follicles), but he appears busy with his paid-to-blog business, so I’ll let him be for now. However, I still do need a USB cable to get some of these pictures up, so maybe he’d be so kind.
West Virginia just defeated Providence in a game where, I think it’s safe to say, WVU escaped. The win puts them into The Tournament, though one reporter asked Huggy Bear in the post-game presser if he thought his team needed this win to cement their place. I paraphrase:
“You win 11 games in this league, why wouldn’t you make the NCAA tournament?”
Oh Bob, we were hoping you’d be a little more animated than that, but perhaps he also knows that his team almost was put firmly on the bubble by Providence.
