I was on my way home from work when my brother called me and told me I had to see what Digger Phelps said about the Tennessee-South Carolina game. I kind of shrugged it off, thinking he might be just overreacting to something small and un-blogworthy. Just watch Hubert Davis and John Saunders.
Friggin’ classic. This is why live television on ESPN during championship week is so great. You get the feeling that everyone’s really flying by the seat of their pants. In this case, Digger’s were down. And I loved how he switched gears after he realized he didn’t know what the hell was going on.
