Player of the Year voting is over, but if it wasn’t, Hansbrough would’ve won the thing because of what you’re about to see. It really shows that true winning mentality that I believe UNC has. Va. Tech had this game in hand the entire time, but Deron Washington fouled out, the team lost its grip on Carolina and no one blocked out Psycho T at the most critical moment of the game.
I admit, I was shocked at how restrained Vitale was, but you knew Patrick couldn’t help but nearly cough up a lung.
Both Patrick and Vitale are ridiculous homers and drunk if they think Va. Tech has legitimate claim to getting a bid after their weak schedule, ONE win against Miami and then ALMOST beating Carolina.
