It’s times like these when I wish I had Photoshop so I could put Kevin Love’s face on King Leonidas’ body.

I stumbled upon an article on Rivals yesterday that addressed the growing sentiment among many college hoops followers: UCLA is becoming pretty hated.

Hm. Glad to see I’m not alone on this.

Anyway, Kevin Love decided to add his take on the Bruins’ march through March and what he compares it to.

“A lot of people are starting to not like us,” Love said. “They’re calling us the Duke of the West Coast. We feel like the Spartans out there in ‘300.’

“We don’t care who’s on our side. It could be us against the world. We’re just going out there trying to win.”

I know that everyone is using this movie as a tool in the hotel room the night before a game to help them get up for the competition, but seriously … just like the 300 guys who fought off an army of hundreds of thousands of Persians? Really, Kevin? You went there?

UCLA just became more hateable.
