I admit, I quickly brought up ESPN.com when they opened with this today.
That’s good stuff. I wonder if they did it in one take.
It kind of makes you hesitate when you see how good they are at feigning discouragement. What about all of the other issues they get so “heated? about? Still, I’ve loved the show since Day One.

I don’t know why I always bite on such an outrageous April Fools’ Joke… I saw this live, and I was literally yelling at the T.V., “Nooo way! Nooo way! That’s AWESOME!” (I was so excited – that’s how badly I wanted Davidson to keep history from making a boring story: all #1 seeds in the Final Four – well boring up to this point, but exciting Final Four? We’ll see.)
I was curious why my other sports blogs didn’t even touch it, but it must have been BRAND NEW BREAKING news…. Then my wife reminded me, “Honey, it’s April Fools Day.” I would have bit on it all the way to the end if she hadn’t said that to me. That’s what happens when you watch sports with girls… They ruin everything.
Hhahaha. This is GREAT. And they really do play this off to near perfection.
