I noticed it over the weekend, wondered if they would be taking their production for one night to the climax of this thing that the network is paying $6 billion for. It seems that it’s not. Funny, when you think about how many of the same commercials they slam down our throats.
Normally they’re always at the site of the Final Four, but not this year. It’s probably something to do with money (I’d assume it could be quite pricey to send hundreds of people to San Antonio to do the same job they can do in New York), and I don’t mind the studio angle … it just seems like a bum gig for a major hoops scribe like Seth Davis and a avid, honest fan like Kellogg to be secluded in a studio for the final three games of the college year.
