I’m serving jury duty today (first time ever!), so the posts will be scarce. I’ve got a scheduled post on the ACC-Big 10 Challenge, but other than that it’ll be thin.
No. 2 Connecticut 79, Delaware State 49. The video probably won’t surface, but Hasheem Thabeet got rejected by a guy who can’t possibly stand taller than 6’5″. It was amazing. In fact, Thabeet left the game on that play with an injury to his wrist/arm. Huskies will be on cruise control for 19 days, then they play Gonzaga in the Pacific Northwest.
No. 16 Syracuse 86, Colgate 51. Colgate gets its yearly lashing in the Carrier Dome. Hey, at least they get a decent paycheck for the spanking. I will never be an Eric Devendorf believer, by the way.
Notable:
Wisconsin 74, Virginia Tech 72. You saw the video.
Kansas 87, Kent State 60. Jayhawks with a statement win after dropping out of the AP Top 25. Kent State couldn’t shoot from the field and committed 27 fouls. No easy task playing in Phog Allen.

What’s wrong with Devendorf??
