(UPDATE: Yep. He gone!)
The consensus Player of the Year will hold a press conference at 3:30 ET today to let the world know he’s talked with his family, had a hard time with this decision, but, ultimately, after speaking with Coach Capel and those close to him, it’s time to move to the next chapter in his life.
He will be thanking his brother, the University, the coaching staff, his teammates, his family. God may even find a way onto the checklist as well, but maybe not. Even an all-powerful god would love to have Griffin on his basketball team.
I just want to see if he can get through the press conference without diving onto the floor if someone drops a pen, or throwing somebody through a hoop or into a trash can, at the very least.
