There is a new meme in college basketball: Jacob Pullen’s beard.
Pullen only recently began growing out his facial follicles, but the beard, which isn’t anything amazing (this is blasphemous to KSU faithful, I know) is catching on with the student body in Manhattan.
Winning and a good gimmick can go a long way in a secluded college town. Consider me on beard — er, board.
Props to Frank Martin, who soaked in the moment, had a little fun and quickly distracted us from his minor physical spat with a player during the Missouri game last weekend. I think we can learn to love this guy.
