I’ll be on the road a bit today as I am heading up to cover Texas-UConn, so I’ll try and get as much on the site throughout the day and night as I can — if there’s enough newsworthy things going on. Expect plenty of coverage tomorrow, though.
Hope you like the return of the ads and the other small tweaks at the site. Please help me eat food and click on the ads as frequently as your heart desires.
Now, linkage:
But, to hold you over for a little bit, here’s some worthwhile material:
— Bill Hass has a terrific piece on underrated Virginia Tech guard Malcolm Delaney. As far as I can tell, Delaney is a top-five player in the conference this year.
— The Republican who took over Ted Kennedy’s seat in Massachusetts said his daughter was available. She plays for Boston College, and is not. I never watch “American Idol”; I was unaware of this girl. Is she worth a post?
— Georgia Southern put on a two-year probation for messing with grades. How many will care?
—Is there any chance the Ivy League gets a television deal?
— The Wall Street Journal has a book review on the subject of coaching, salaries and big bucks coming into universities. WSJ has been pretty terrific since it started its sports coverage a year ago.
— Ish Smith is awesome. He is underrated. And he’s quick as hell. You can hear an interview with the Wake Forest point guard, courtesy of the guys at ACC Sports.
— You probably heard all about that all-white hoops league idea that was floated this week. Turns out, people in Georgia approve of such blatant racism.
