Sunday TV Lineup

Sunday, March 23rd, 2008

bill-and-the-guys.JPGRemember, they smush ‘em today, so no primetime ball. I never liked that, but I know that the networks consider Sunday night much more dangerous to put basketball games on so late. (I still don’t but it.) Anyway, we know a few things will happen today: A) At least two double-digit seeds will be going to the Sweet 16; B) CBS will keep you longer than it needs to in a game that’s clearly over or just isn’t that exciting while another tight one is being played; C) Tim Brando and/or Jim Nantz will throw us a few cheesy, insufferable lines.

Saturday TV Lineup

Saturday, March 22nd, 2008

ohmy.jpgNaturally, Duke gets the early, national game. And it seems like poor Gus Johnson should be due for a close one today after all the calamity from yesterday’s action. I wouldn’t be opposed to few confused, elated Dick Enberg-induced moments either. All times are Eastern and, of course, are approximations depending upon when other games end. Fire up that laptop, because you’ll need March Madness on Demand yet again today.

1 p.m. - Road to the Final Four

2:10 - No. 2 Duke vs. No. 7 West Virginia (Bolerjack/Wenzel)

4:20 - No. 3 Wisconsin vs. No. 11 Kansas State (Harlan/Bonner)

4:40 - No. 3 Xavier vs. No. 6 Purdue (Bolerjack/Wenzel)

6:40 - No. 4 Washington State vs. No. 5 Notre Dame (Johnson/Elmore)

6:45 - No. 3 Stanford vs. No. 6 Marquette (Enberg/Bilas)

6:50 - No. 1 Kansas vs. No. 8 Nevada-Las Vegas (Harlan/Bonner)

9:10 - No. 4 Pittsburgh vs. No. 5 Michigan State (Johnson/Elmore)

9:15 - No. 1 UCLA vs. No. 9 Texas A&M (Enberg/Bilas)
